I'm pleased to announce that the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA.com) recently posted a list of winners from their 4th quarter competition, and four of my images from 2012 placed in the contest, including 2nd place winners in two categories.

One of the most moving weddings of the past year had only four participants: the minister, the bride and groom, and their lovely dog Barkley. Sarah and Brent's intimate ceremony in the backyard of their Cambridge home may have been super-small, but it contained oceans of love and devotion. It was a privilege to be present to witness their joy!
Here's a glimpse of Nina & Charlie's sweet Boston Harbor Hotel wedding (with a ceremony at Boston College - go Eagles)! Charlie is a professional soccer player (how cool is that?), so the wedding was held on a Friday evening to accommodate the busy game schedules of many of the groomsmen and guests.
It was a lovely, warm evening -- cocktails on the waterfront, then dinner in the airy ballroom as the sunset filtered over the harbor. A notable design element was Nina's choice of clear "Ghost" chairs for seating...an inspired modern touch amid the classic setting.
