sarah + brent : : backyard elopement

One of the most moving weddings of the past year had only four participants: the minister, the bride and groom, and their lovely dog Barkley. Sarah and Brent's intimate ceremony in the backyard of their Cambridge home may have been super-small, but it contained oceans of love and devotion. It was a privilege to be present to witness their joy!

Quiet moment from a recent wedding...

nina + charlie : : boston harbor hotel wedding

Here's a glimpse of Nina & Charlie's sweet Boston Harbor Hotel wedding (with a ceremony at Boston College - go Eagles)! Charlie is a professional soccer player (how cool is that?), so the wedding was held on a Friday evening to accommodate the busy game schedules of many of the groomsmen and guests.

It was a lovely, warm evening -- cocktails on the waterfront, then dinner in the airy ballroom as the sunset filtered over the harbor. A notable design element was Nina's choice of clear "Ghost" chairs for seating...an inspired modern touch amid the classic setting.
